What is Embrace It?
"Embrace It TAX" is a Tourism Tax for a Sustainable Baja California Sur, which encourages International travelers visiting the State of Baja California Sur to contribute $ 450 Mexican pesos (~$25 USD depending on the exchange rate) to support the ongoing development of sustainable projects and initiatives in the destination. This contribution is for the betterment of local communities, as well as for investment in local resources enjoyed by the millions of travelers who visit the destination every year. The contribution can be done upon arrival, at your lodging facility or when planning your trip.
Why should this TAX be made?
This Tourism Tax looks to support critical community needs such as statewide security, education, sports and cultural projects, infrastructure, housing and the development of social projects contributing to the growth and well-being of the local community, as well as for investment in local resources enjoyed by the millions of travelers who visit the destination every year.
